Il Progresso was established in 1956 by Captain Giuseppe Di Salvo and was issued as an expression of the workers council in Melbourne. Today it represents the official information and updating body of INAS CISL in Australia.

Through the pubblication of news and in depth information about facts and events in Italy, also of political and economic nature,. Il Progresso is issued bi-monthly and is distributed free of charge to all the branches of INAS in Australia.
